Celebrating 50 Years of Adult Learning: From Legacy to Leadership

Most people in adult education are the only person in their building doing this job. The annual conference is where that stops being true for a few days — where an instructor in Monroe compares notes with one in Houma, where a new director finds out how someone else solved the thing they’re stuck on, and where the work gets recognized in a room full of people who understand what it took.

This year marks LAPCAE’s 50th. Three days of sessions led by Louisiana practitioners, state and national partners, and invited experts, closing with the Awards Luncheon on November 3.
