Who We Are
LAPCAE is Louisiana’s professional home for adult, community, and public educators — a statewide association dedicated to advancing the field and the people it serves. We unite the profession, support our members through professional development and scholarship opportunities, and advocate for policies that expand access to education for Louisiana’s adults. From the classroom to the capitol, LAPCAE connects educators, elevates the work, and champions the learners who depend on it.
All LAPCAE members receive membership to COABE. COABE represents the field of 65,000 adult educators and provides a variety of services, including professional development through annual, state-of-the-art national conferences, more than 50 webinars annually, and a peer-reviewed journal.

The Call for PRESENTATIONS is out from COABE.
We need PROPOSALS from Louisiana as part of our contractual obligation with them to come into our great state WITH THIS FABULOUS OPPORTUNITY!
PLEASE consider showcasing the good work we are doing in Louisiana and submit a proposal to present at the conference.
The deadline to submit your applications is July 31, 2026. Make sure to prepare and submit everything on time to avoid missing out!
