Board Elections

LAPCAE is seeking nominations for its Board of Directors. Elected LAPCAE board members meet in person a minimum of 4 times per year and work on various committees in-person and virtually throughout the year.

Members may self-nominate or nominate other members whom they believe to be responsible candidates for open positions, including those who are in other regions. (Actual voting for Regional Reps will be limited to members within their own region.)

Nominated members will be contacted to assure they are willing to stand for election and to perform the required activities if they are elected.

Open Positions:

• President-Elect
• Treasurer
• Regional Representatives from Region 2, Region 4, Region 6, and Region 8

Timeline for the process:

1. Nominations: July 01, 2024 – September 18, 2024
2. Voting: September 30, 2024 – October 11, 2024
3. Winners Announced: October 14, 2024

Induction of new officers and Board members will occur on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at the 2024 LAPCAE Annual Conference.

In an effort to provide continuity to our organization and our board, board members will be elected on a staggered cycle AFTER 2020. The following chart describes the election cycle. Future election information will also be posted here. Installation of officers will be at our 2020 LAPCAE conference in November.

2 Year term:

• President- Elect

• Treasurer

• Region 2, 4, 6, and 8 Representatives

3 Year term:

• Vice-President

• Secretary

• Region 1, 3, 5, and 7 Representatives
